After much angsting (what should I wear? will anyone come along? will I sell any books?), the London launch of Triptych Poets turned out to be a very enjoyable event. In a dimly-lit below-stairs bar, round the corner from the Friday night madness of Leicester Square, a good group of friends and acquaintances gathered to help me celebrate the publication of this handsome little volume. Once the obliging barman had turned up the lights a tad and switched off the music, I read a few of the poems, which were well received. A short flurry of book signing followed, then more mingling and chatting over a glass or two of wine. Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a convivial evening.
